Barlotti (George V records) mixed by DJ millydemori, finally releases on Feb 4 2003 in the US, after having launched in Europe in December 2002.

Barlotti is the latest CD compilation from George V records, the pioneer and leading record label in the Lounge compilation CD market, that has signed the success of CDs like Buddha Bar, Barrio Latino, Barfly.

Sophisticated and eclectic, the “Barlotti” compilation, a luxurious two-CD pack, inaugurates the eponymous restaurant, which recently opened on the hip « Marché Saint Honoré » square, in Paris. Spread over three floors, the whole place pays a vibrant tribute to famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright who revolutionized architecture and design in the first half of the XXth Century.
The tracks were selected and mixed by DJ millydemori, a Milanese woman who lives in New York and who’s been playing for more than ten years in the most prestigious clubs of New York, Miami, Moscow, Milan and Paris, sometimes sharing the turntables with great artists as Paul Oakenfold, David Morales or Pete Tong.

She also collaborated with George V Records on «Saturday Session », a compilation where she produced two tracks, GoGeit and Ain't Funky.
All tracks on “Barlotti” were produced by Italian artists, such as Joe Montana, Riccardo Eberspacher, Dj Rodriguez, Clan Greco and Don Carlos.

The first CD with its retro and jazzy musical atmosphere brings us back to the Italian movies of the sixties. The musical approach in the second CD is very warm and rhythmic sounds of batucada, bossa, uptempo electronic and instrumental, latin house complementing each other sublimely. The warm Mediterranean sounds make a one of a kind sparkling compilation.
